GEORGSHÜTTE
Georgshütte is a former ironworks and glass manufacturer located in Georgsmarienhütte, Lower Saxony, Germany. The history of Georgshütte dates back to the mid-19th century, when the ironworks were established in 1856. Later on, the company expanded its operations to include the production of glassware, and became known as "Georgshütte - Eisen und Glaswerke" (Georgshütte - Iron and Glass Works).

During its heyday, Georgshütte produced a wide range of glassware products, including glass bottles, jars, vases, and even scientific glass instruments. The company was also known for its high-quality glass and its innovative designs.

Today, Georgshütte is no longer in operation as a glass manufacturer. The site has been repurposed and now houses a number of businesses and organizations, including a museum dedicated to the history of Georgshütte and the iron and glass industries of the regio.
